The Janet Clarkson Memorial Triathlon is the Best of the U.S. state qualifier for both Montana and Wyoming. The 4th Annual Best of the U.S. National Championship triathlon race will move to the Soma Quarterman Triathlon in Tempe, AZ on Sunday, October 26th, 2008. The triathlon event will consist of a 1000 me swim, 30 mi bike and a 6.55 mi run.

This Triathlon, named after Janet Clarkson, is designed to provide a yearly scholarship for the West Yellowstone High School, and funds for the American Cancer Society.

The JCMT is a Platinum Sponsor of the American Cancer Society "Relay for life" This year's event is Saturday and Sunday - July 12 and 13 - in Bozeman, MT
